Microsoft announces availability of Windows Phones (Windows Mobile 6.5) beginning October 6th

Did you hear that? That’s the sound of Windows Mobile fans around the world breathing a simultaneous sigh of relief upon learning that Windows Mobile 6.5-powered handsets, or “Windows Phones”, will finally become available beginning October 6th.
