Motorola has unintentionally released the specs of their new Android mobile on their website. The Motorola Droid (aka Sholes) is the cellphone maker’s second Android-based smartphone after the CLIQ. It is now removed but not before fan boys have managed to copied the images and information.
The Motorola Droid will run Android 2.0 OS and the other features OMAP3430 550MHz processor, 256M RAM and a dedicated PowerVR GPU, the Motorola Droid supports CDMA Rev.A network (GSM/WCDMA will also available), GPS and WiFi, gets a 3.7-inch 854×480 touchscreen display, a side-slide QWERTY keyboard, a 5 Megapixel auto focus camera with dual LED flash, touch-sensitive buttons and a 3.5mm headset jack. Unlike other MOTO phones, the Droid looks pretty stylish and is one of the slimmest QWERTY devices. It will be released by Verizon Wireless in the US.
