Asus is going to introduces the 2nd Generation Ultrathin Notebook Platform, instead of Intel’s Atom platform, the new Eee PC 1201T slim netbook, which is based on AMD’s Congo. The 1201T gets an AMD Athlon Neo MV-40 1.6GHz processor, AMD RS780MN chipset and ATI Radeon HD3200 graphics for 1080p Full HD capability.
Asus Eee PC 1201T features a 12.1-inch 1366×768 LCD display, 2GB of DDR2 RAM, a 320GB hard drive, supports WiFi 802.11b/g/n and Bluetooth 2.1, offers 1080p performance, it lacks HDMI connector but only VGA and run Windows 7. The new Eee PC has been released in China, along with the 1201N and 1201HA.
