    well the macbook pros processors aren’t as good as this (mac still have core 2 duo, where as the envy has core i7), this has a better graphics card and a better screen (full HD 1920 x 1080) perfect unboxing and review!

    If you’re going to do video editing go with a macbook pro.. I do video editing and Final Cut Pro is a lot better than Sony Vegas Pro and Adobe Premier Pro. Also the battery lasts a lot longer. The “i” series quadcore chips in the envy use 45 nanometer processors which consume a lot more power than the 32 nanometer processers that are coming to the macbook pros… Apple is all about being green and conserving battery power…You’ll still get your 8 hour battery life when the macs get the 32 nm

    Macbooks are aesthetically better (I unequivocally agree), but to buy one is to sell your soul to Apple. There is no freedom! ~ like say, expecting to fit a square into a circle…

    Sure they have Apple Branded programs with flush finesse, but explore around and you’ll find that there are tons of infinitely superior PC programs out there.

    Now what does more green mean? This means Apple actually organized the space for their MBP and made sure that they dont just stuff the components inside the MBP like HP has done. Because of this the MBP can load everything just as fast, if not faster than an HP Envy. HP Envy can only play games better than the MBP. The res are tied, but Apples OS looks more beautiful, so in a way the graphics of a Macbook Pro look better.

    It really depends on what you want. Battery life on this is pathetic compared to a Macbook pro. Also the audio input through a Macbook Pro sounds amazing and way better than this. Plus Apple’s software for music/video editing/producing is better than what the HP Envy CAN COME WITH (you have to pay money for an inferior software!) MBPs last longer, have a backlit keyboard, much better at multitasking, better trackpad, better aesthetics, and more green.
