    true however they meant that more in spirit (a continuation of the original HL2 story)… in recent interviews you hear them saying things like, they won’t currently talk much bout HL3 and it is noted that they won’t go into it much way after HL2 EP3 is released. (The episodes have “Half-Life 2 preceding in the title for a reason”).

    Who knows there may eventually be HL3 Episodes someday.

    EP3 is NOT Half Life 3. Valve has stated this multiple times.

    It’s called Half Life 2: EPISODE 3 for a reason.
